maybe your ferret wants to get out of the cage a little more often. how much play time outside of the cage does he get? As for healing well it'll heal on its own if he doesn't keep irritating it. I'd focus on preventing it from getting worse or happening again.

Hello,

My ferrets bottom lip area is raw and slightly bleeding from biting at his cage. Is there anything safe I can put on it to help it heal?

Thanks

My 3-year-old ferret was just diagnosed with a "Huge" mass in her stomach. I live in orange county california and I am looking for a second opinion. I am going to Dr. Coward in mission viejo but I am not sure how much he knows about ferrets. Can you help. I need a second opinion ASAP!

Thanks!

My two ferrets, Runt and Beuller, play fight all the time. I'm fine with that because there's never been any injuries. But here lately Bueller has been coming away with battle scars. His upper back has little scab wounds and the skin has an overall reddish-orange color. Is there something that I can put on Buellers back to help the healing, and should I seperate these two for a few days?
